DARTMOUTH - Like the 32C temperatures, the Fredericton Rowing Club was red-hot over the weekend placing 2nd overall in the team competition behind host club North Star at the Nova Scotia Sprints held on Lake Banook over the weekend.
In particular, the senior men dominated their events, lead by Jamie Abbass who collected seven medals in all. Five clubs took part in the two-day event.
FRC also finished 2nd in the team efficiency category and collected the Moe Cody trophy for winning the open men’s 4.
The NS Sprints are the premiere regional regatta held during the summer.
